ADA & Accessibility

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) are civil rights laws that prohibit discrimination on the basis of disability and ensure that people with disabilities and other protected characteristics have the same opportunities as everyone else to participate in government programs, services, employment, and public life. Yolo County is committed to providing equal access and ensuring our services, facilities, and digital content are accessible to all members of our community.

Web Accessibility

We work to maintain Yolo county websites in conformance with recognized accessibility standards, including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and the Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
We recognize there is still work to be done, and remain dedicated to ongoing improvements. If you have difficulty accessing the site or have any comments or feedback, please do not hesitate to contact us.

File an ADA Complaint/Grievance

If you believe you have experienced discrimination or encountered an accessibility barrier related to County programs, facilities, or services including website or digital content you may file an ADA complaint using our ADA Complaint Form.
