Program Description

Yolo County implemented the Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) waiver in 2019, strengthening our substance use continuum of care. Through this system, we provide comprehensive substance use disorder services as well as coordinated care across substance use, mental health, and physical health domains.

Our continuum of care includes outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential, and withdrawal management services for both adults and adolescents. We also offer Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) through designated Narcotic Treatment Programs and within our other levels of care, along with contingency management and prevention and early intervention services. Additionally, certain services are available to individuals in custody, aimed at stabilizing them during incarceration and supporting a more successful transition back into the community.

• Product Availability:  Free Naloxone and fentanyl test strips are available through the Yolo County Public Health Wellness Vending Machines. Learn more: Free Naloxone In Yolo County. 
• Naloxone Use Training: Persons who dispense Naloxone must complete and report training has been completed. Watch the video below, and complete the training reporting form to satisfy the training requirement.
