The HHSA Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Committee (QIC) is responsible for the overall quality review of all behavioral health services provided in Yolo County. Our goal is to recommend policy decisions, review and evaluate the results of QI activities, including performance improvement projects, institute needed QI actions, and ensure follow-up of QI processes. On an annual basis, the Quality Management Work Plan (QMWP) is reviewed, assessed for its effectiveness, and new opportunities to improve our system of care are identified.
Membership
The QIC is comprised of representatives from the following stakeholder groups: consumers, family members, Patients’ Rights Advocates, Local Mental Health Board, QM Program staff, provider and BHP staff, supervisors and managers, and the Behavioral Health Director. The QIC meets quarterly, while QIC subcommittees and workgroups may meet more frequently and report back to stakeholders at the QIC meetings.
