Service Information
The El Macero County Service Area (CSA 1) was established on February 16, 1969 to provide for sewer, water and road-related services (map of district). Sewer and water service are provided by the City of Davis. The CSA is funded by collecting fees for these services which are charged on an annual basis. Look below for the charges for all services which are applied annually to the property tax bill (includes instructions on accessing your water usage data). View online tax statements.
The El Macero CSA is governed by the Yolo County Board of Supervisors and the policies and procedures of the County of Yolo (which are available upon request), and is advised by the El Macero CSA Advisory Committee. Those interested in serving on the advisory committee can apply online. Participation on the El Macero CSA Advisory Committee is a voluntary basis. There is no compensation for participation.
Services are coordinated through the CSA Administrative Support Team which can be reached at YoloCSA@yolocounty.org or (530) 666-8157 for more information concerning the El Macero CSA.
For sewer backups and severe water leaks including water pooling/spilling out of a water meter box: Customers can contact the City of Davis Public Works Utilities and Operations Department by phone at 530-757-5686 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. or by the City’s Police Department non-emergency line after hours at 530-747-5400. This will allow City staff to assess the situation as soon as possible, and to correct the problem (if it is in the sections of the pipe system maintained by the City) at no cost to the customer.
