Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) volunteers provide FREE Income Tax Preparation Assistance to low-income, elderly, disabled and limited English speaking people.  The VITA program was established in 1969 by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to provide basic return preparation assistance for low-income individuals.
