The Yolo County Elections Office completed a successful logic and accuracy testing of the voting equipment on Thursday, April 30, 2026.

Beginning on Monday, May 4, all active registered voters in Yolo County will be mailed a Vote-by-Mail ballot. All active registered voters in Yolo County can expect their ballot to arrive in their mailbox by Monday, May 11, 2026. If your ballot has not arrived by Tuesday, May 12, 2026, please contact the Yolo County Elections Office.

Voters are encouraged to sign-up for vote-by-mail ballot tracking at WheresMyBallot.sos.ca.gov. Those who sign-up will receive automated notifications about their vote-by-mail ballots by email, text, or voice call.

Starting Monday, May 4, 2026, the Elections Office will begin to accept and process Vote-by-Mail ballot return identification envelopes for the June 2, 2026, Statewide Direct Primary Election. Ballot processing will begin on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The totaling and posting of election results will begin after 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

The Elections Office will continue to accept and process vote-by-mail ballots during regular business hours, and, if needed, after business hours and weekends at the Yolo County Elections Office (625 Court St., Suite B-05, Woodland), including after business hours on Election Day.
