Yolo County is inviting fathers, father figures, and caregivers across the region to participate in a brief Fatherhood Questionnaire aimed at strengthening programs and support for local families. The questionnaire is anonymous and available in both English and Spanish and takes only a few minutes to complete. Responses will help guide future services to better reflect the experiences, needs, and priorities of fathers in Yolo County.

“As Chair of First 5 Yolo, I appreciate the important role that fathers play in the development and well-being of their children,” said Yolo County Supervisor Lucas Frerichs. “When dads feel heard and supported, they are better equipped to create a positive, nurturing household. By taking a few minutes to share their experiences through this questionnaire, fathers can help us strengthen the programs and systems that support families across Yolo County.”

This effort is the result of a collaborative partnership among local service providers committed to elevating fatherhood voices and enhancing family‑centered resources throughout the county.

“Fathers play an essential role in the health and well‑being of children and families,” the collaborative group shared. “By taking a few minutes to complete this questionnaire, dads can help shape how our community supports them.”

Yolo County encourages all fathers and father figures to participate and share the questionnaire within their networks. Every response contributes to building a stronger, more responsive system of care for families.
