The Secretary of State’s Office and the Yolo County Elections Office will hold a randomized alphabet drawing at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026, to determine the order in which candidates' names appear on the June 2, 2026, Statewide Direct Primary Election ballot.

The Secretary of State’s drawing will determine the order for the candidates running for state constitutional offices, U.S. congressional offices, and county offices.

County elections offices draw for state legislative offices in their county. The drawing for candidates running for Member of the State Assembly, District 4 will be conducted at the Yolo County Elections Office at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026. The office is located at 625 Court Street, Room B-05, Woodland, CA 95695. All interested members of the public are invited to observe the drawing online via livestream on our social media account or in-person.
