PRESS RELEASE
The nomination period for the following offices on the ballot for the June 2, 2026, Statewide Direct Primary Election has been extended until Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. for contests where an eligible incumbent did not file their nomination papers by the end of the nomination period at 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2026. The nomination period extension is only applicable to candidates other than the incumbent.
Nomination is still open for the following offices:
Yolo County Board of Supervisor, District 3
Judge of the Superior Court, Office No. 1
If you wish to run for any of these offices, please complete your nomination paperwork at the appropriate office, by 5:00 p.m. on March 11, 2026. Interested parties can schedule an appointment online using our scheduling system: https://elections.yolocounty.gov/scheduling, by emailing the Elections Office at elections@yolocounty.gov or calling (530) 666‑8133.
