The Yolo County Public Works Division will install new stop signs at the intersection of County Road 99D at the Barry Road, approximately one mile south of County Road 29 and just north of the City of Davis. Construction is scheduled to occur intermittently from Monday, March 9 through Friday, March 20, weather permitting.
To ensure a safe work zone, intermittent road and lane closures will be required. Work will take place Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., with the roadway fully reopened to traffic each evening. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible. Flaggers and signage will be in place to guide traffic, and local access to properties and businesses will be maintained throughout construction.
Installation of the new stop signs was approved by the Yolo County Board of Supervisors at its October 7, 2025 meeting.
