“The flu vaccine remains the best and safest way to protect yourself against severe disease, hospitalization, and death from influenza,” said Dr. Aimee Sisson, Yolo County Public Health Officer. “I recommend that everyone 6 months of age and older get a flu shot every year.”
The flu vaccine is recommended annually for all Yolo County residents ages 6 months and older. Vaccination helps reduce the risk of severe illness, hospitalization, and death. Flu shots are widely available in Yolo County through your healthcare provider and your local pharmacies at www.Vaccines.gov/find-vaccines.
