Thank you for visiting the Yolo County Behavioral Health Board (LBHB) page. The LBHB is dedicated to providing guidance to the Yolo County Board of Supervisors and the Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency on issues regarding mental health, substance use disorders, and public guardianship. We work closely with both bodies to support the best public policy available for our Yolo County residents.
We have 15 dedicated members on our Board, including peers, family members of people with mental illness, mental health professionals, and folks from a variety of other backgrounds.
We invite the public to attend our meetings on the 1st Wednesday of each month. Our schedule is located on this page. We rotate our meetings between Woodland, Davis, West Sacramento, and one rural venue each year.
We invite the public to participate in many public discussions throughout the year regarding the County's important mental health policy concerns. This year, we will begin site visits throughout the county to residences and facilities where peers live and receive services. We also collaborate with agencies like the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and our services providers, to reach out to those who would benefit from Agency services.
Most importantly, we are an important group where Yolo County residents can express their concerns and hopes regarding mental health services. Please visit our meetings, and feel free to contact us for more information: lbhb@yolocounty.org
